In the year 1936, WEILBURGER Lackfabrik was acquired by Jakob Grebe.

Until today it is a family-owned enterprise. In 1979 the company was taken over by Hans Harald Grebe. Under his management WEILBURGER Lackfabrik expanded in the domestic market as well as abroad.

Today with more than 200 employees manufacturing 6500 tons WEILBURGER coatings belongs to the most important medium sized paint manufacturers.

The company develops coating systems in line with current market needs where economy, environmental compatibility and technical performance are most important. Our highly skilled experts can offer innovative and intelligent solutions for the problems of our partners in the industry. They improve our trustworthiness and competitive position. Thus our research and development activities concentrate at present on water-based high temperature coatings, new Fluoropolymer coatings, radiation-curing UV and EBC systems, 2K-PUR-hydro coatings, solvent-free Epoxy systems and water-reducible effect lacquers.

Today, WEILBURGER coatings produces nearly 6,500 tons of industrial lacquers on the basis of the most modern criteria. Solvent-free coatings and water lacquers are the centre of attention as well as products at which organic solvents are indispensable. By means of a regenerative waste air purification plant we take precautions in order to reduce the emissions to a minimum value. Thereby, the protection of the environment is an obligation for us. Computer-controlled plant for mixing of colours enable a rapid, price and quality assuring supply of our customers with standard systems.

WEILBURGER Coatings puts on quality. The consequent application and development of our quality management system results into a new certification with respect to the regulation DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. By means of a partnership relationship to our raw material suppliers and customers we try to create a fundament for a continuously successful business relation.
