Survey of tasks and activities:

Production specialists are engaged in preparing, supervising and controlling activities. For example, they observe measuring instruments and register the results. Checking of production samples are done by themselves. They prepare the necessary equipment for the working process and mixe raw materials and semi-finished materials according to the given formulations. They develop mixtures according to recipes and prepare the equipment needed for the working process. The quality assurance, maintenance and repair of tools, machines, equipments, and plants also belong to their range of duty.

Training: an outline

Product specialist chemistry is an acknowledged apprenticeable trade with respect to the vocational training law. It is related to the occupational category chemistry, physics and biology with the focus on production engineering. In the industry, the avocation is offered without specialization in special fields and emphasis.
