Applications at furniture

With the existing product program suitable waterborne varnishes are available for all traditional applications in the varnishing of chairs. Water borne wood stains intensify the colour appearance without bleeding in case of water reducible dip coatings. 

A very good sanding ability and blocking stability are basic pre-conditions for modern aqueous systems.

The stability requirements according to DIN EN 12720 / DIN 68861 are fulfilled. Our coatings are free from heavy metals as specified in EN 71.

We offer products for all industrial drying processes as re-circulating air, NIR (near infrared), UV, micro wave or IR.

We are familiar with recycling procedures like “Paint in Paint” “Coolac” and ultrafiltration.

Parquet and laminate floors

We provide complete solvent-free and radiation curable coating systems for the parquet industry.

The wide product assortment contains UV putties, UV hydro adhesion primers, UV special primers and UV finish coatings for roller application an various line configurations.

Depending on customer specifications the systems can be adjusted to Taber Abraser “SIS/S33, S42” ( highly viscoelastic) or to “CS17” (highly abrasion-resistant). Both tests can be carried out in our development laboraties.

The processability and application parameters are tested in our fully equipped engineering department.

Beside the classical Acrylate systems, also UV priming and finish oils are available.

floor coating specials

Solvent-free, UV or electron beam cured floor coatings with outstanding abrasion resistance. Conductive coatings in different colours from light-grey to black for industrial applications to prevent electrostatic charging.

Printed décor laminate

Electron beam and UV cured foil coatings  find a broad application within the range of furniture décor laminates. Besides traditional acid curing formulations WEILBURGER Coatings is able to develop colourless UV EBC coatings. The simulation of the EBC curing process is done by our 150 kV beam.

Apart from the individual gloss adjustment  most colours are possible. The coatings have an excellent adhesion and very good performance.

Our coatings stand for process stability. Line speeds up to 260 m/min are possible.

Door panels

Curtain coatings for coloured door panels cured by the EBC process is a speciality in our product range.
